Feast Buffet Katy Review: $13.49 Lunch & Three Plates of Crawfish
I had been craving crawfish so much that it was time for another buffet visit. Feast Buffet gave me plenty to choose from, but let’s be honest: the crawfish was my main reason for coming.
What I Ordered
Crawfish
For frozen crawfish, I thought the texture was nicely bouncy. It had real seasoning and a little spice, which helped satisfy my craving. I ended up eating three plates.
Salt-and-Pepper Crab and Squid
The salt-and-pepper crab was one of my favorite surprises. The outside was salty and crisp, and the meat was not mushy. I went back for another piece. I also liked the squid’s combination of softness and chew.
Chicken Wings, General Tso’s and Kung Pao Chicken
The wings were still crisp and crunchy. The meat was not the juiciest, but I really liked the coating. The General Tso’s chicken was sweet and crisp, and I enjoyed the seasoning on the Kung Pao chicken.
Chicken Feet, Noodles and Sushi
The chicken feet were soft and gelatinous, just the texture I enjoy. The noodles tasted a little too starchy for me, and the mushrooms could have used more flavor. I also tried a few sushi bites; the salmon was not bad.
Fruit and Flan
I finished with fruit and flan. The cantaloupe was sweet, and the flan was very sweet with a flavor that reminded me a little of pancakes.
How Much Was It?
The lunch buffet was $13.49 per person in my March 2024 video. With all that variety and crawfish available at lunch during my visit, I thought it was a great value. Check current pricing and buffet offerings before going.
What Would I Order Again?
Crawfish, salt-and-pepper crab and chicken feet would be on my plate again. I would get some crispy chicken, too. This was one of the biggest buffets I had visited around Houston, and the lunch price made the experience especially appealing to me.
