Karahi Boys Sugar Land Review: Goat Karahi, Biryani & Giant Garlic Naan
Karahi Boys turned out to be much larger and more beautifully decorated than I expected. The dining room felt warm and welcoming, and the staff helped us choose a few Pakistani dishes to share. I even got to watch our naan being made.

My quick take
The goat karahi, biryani and giant garlic naan are the dishes I’d order again. I enjoyed the friendly service and sharing Pakistani dishes in the warm dining room. We chose spice level three out of five during our visit.
What we ordered at Karahi Boys
Family garlic naan
Watching the chef stick the dough inside the hot oven, lift it out and brush on butter was such a treat. The finished naan was huge, fragrant and delicious. If you love garlic, this is for you. Near the end, I started dipping it into the karahi sauce and wondered why I hadn’t been doing that the whole time.
Goat karahi
Our waiter recommended this popular dish. The goat was delicious, and I kept working every bit of meat from the bones. I loved the sauce with rice and naan, and it was hard to stop going back for more.
Beef kebab
The kebab arrived sizzling. It was tender and full of flavor, especially dipped into the sweet, tangy sauce that came with it. That combination was so good.
Goat biryani
The rice grains stayed distinct, and I could taste each one. We had recently tried making biryani at home, so I really appreciated how well this was done. The goat in the biryani was tender, and I liked the rice enough to eat it by itself. Adding some karahi sauce made another great bite.

What would I order again?
I’d happily repeat the goat karahi, biryani and garlic naan combination. The kebab with its sauce was delicious too. The food and the friendly service both made this a visit I enjoyed.
